Dr. Sanford Blecker founded the oral surgery practice in 1972, at the original location, on the corner of 75^th and Main Street. Dr. Howard Ochs joined the practice in 1998 as did Dr. Maria Dourmas in the summer of 2009. In 2003, they purchased an office on 164^th Street, which the practice eventually moved to after 30 years. The office, currently located at 70-15 164^th Street, was completely renovated, with all new equipment being installed including Digital Imaging for Panorex and periapical films and the latest in 3D technologies, the Galileos Sirona 3D. The office has been inspected by New York State and is approved for delivery of intravenous sedation (twilight sleep).
