In 1995, Dr. Dourmas-Papazahariou received her dental degree from Columbia University. Then, she began a six-year program that allowed her to achieve a dual degree in Dental Surgery and Medicine. Dr. Dourmas completed her residency and fellowship through Columbia University in 2001.

After completing her dental degree at Columbia University in 1995, Dr. Dourmas-Papazahariou began a six-year program that allowed her to achieve a dual degree in both dental surgery and medicine. Dr. Dourmas completed both her residency and fellowship through Columbia University in 2001.

Dr. Dourmas graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Medical Doctor degree. She currently splits her time between Queensboro Oral Surgery Assoc and training Oral and Maxillofacial residents at Brookdale Hospital. She is also an attending Oral Surgeon at Columbia University.
